Jonathan May grew up in Zimbabwe as the child of missionaries and now lives and teaches in Memphis, TN, where he received his MFA in Poetry. In September 2016, he was honored to serve as the inaugural Artist in Residence at the Brooks Museum of Art. With much enjoyment, he currently co-hosts the Impossible Language poetry reading series alongside Tara Mae Mulroy.
